Raising awareness of migraine disease in New Zealand

Are you one of over 624,000 Kiwis affected by migraine disease?

Ugh. Me too. It’s a club I know we’d rather not belong to. But because I’m a member I want to help raise awareness about migraine disease and advocate for better understanding and support in New Zealand.

I think many of us are hiding our migraine secret – I know I certainly have been. But now I’m coming out of the shadows to share how life-changing migraine disease is.

My migraine disease doesn’t define me and I manage to live a kick-ass life despite its constant presence. I hope by sharing my story and how I manage my migraine disease I can spread a bit of migraine hope and happiness to other people looking for a bit of light relief from their own migraine beast.

It’s out of my comfort zone to offer inspirational quotes or spread love and light so you won’t find much of that stuff here. What you will find is what I know about migraine disease, what I’m continuing to learn and how I manage my migraine beast.
